P / Q-type Ca2+ Channel Blocker
The synthetic peptide toxin omega-Conotoxin MVIIC is a P/Q-type calcium channels with high affinity. It blocks as well N-type calcium channels with low affinity. omega-Conotoxin MVIIC labeled with [125I] is used as diagnostical tool in the research of Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome.
