GLP-1 Receptor Antagonist
Exendin (5-39) is described as an antagonist of glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1) receptors.
Infusion of exendin (5-39) and Amyloid-beta-Protein (human, 1-40) into the rat brain indicated a functional role of endogenous GLP-1 in beta-amyloid protein-induced neurotoxicity.
Our chemically synthesized peptide Exendin (5-39) will be shipped at room temperature. Long term storage is recomended in a freezer at – 18 degrees.
