Inhibitor for Thiol Protease (Cathepsin B/H/L)
E-64-c a synthetic analog of E-64 is a membrane-impermeable calpain inhibitor, where as the ethyl ester of E-64-c ( E-64-d) shows good membrane permeability.
E-64c inhibits Cathepsins more quickly than the commonly used inhibitor E-64.
