HD-6 (Human) | Alpha-Defensin-6 (Human) was originally isolated from neobladder urine as a 32-residue peptide. Heliobacter pylori infection increases HD-6 expression. Peptide inhibits herpes simplex virus infection and has influenza A virus neutralizing ability. In Crohn´s disease patients show reduced alpha-Defensin-6 level.
